Early Life and Education
A native of Thalayolaparambu, Kottayam, Mr. Pai graduated in Economics from Deva Matha College, Kuravilangad in 1974. He then secured an LLB degree from Govt. Law College, Ernakulam in 1978. Additionally, he completed a PG Course in Personal Management from Annamalai University in 1990 and secured P.G D.P.M.
Career
Mr. Pai began his career with CPC Ltd in 1975, followed by stints at KSEB (up to 1980) and North Malabar Gramin Bank (now Kerala Gramin Bank) for 32 years as Branch Manager, where he retired as Chief Manager.
Social Service and Achievements
Mr. Pai is the Founder Secretary of Kannur Water Conservation Society, a pioneer movement in Kerala for water resource management. He has also been instrumental in addressing drinking water scarcity issues in Kannur and Thalassery areas.

Sri D Krishnanadha Pai is married to Mrs P Pushpalatha, Retired from Kerala Gramin Bank. Dr. Abhilash K Pai son working as Asst. Professor, MIT Manipal and married to Dr. Namrata Pai working as Asst. Professor in Nutrition Dept in Manipal University, daughter Anjali K Pai working as Engineer in Bangalore married to Viswa Pratap Naik, Engineer in Bangalore.
